Logan Kent, MSCP LAPC
Licensed Associate Professional Counselor
I am a pre-licensed clinician and am currently working towards licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor. I received my Bachelors degree in Exercise Science before moving to Pittsburgh and earning a Masters in Counseling Psychology from Chatham University.Â
I have worked with a variety of populations and settings including individuals, couples, and groups. I have experience with multiple areas including substance use, ADHD and neurodivergence, couples therapy, trauma and recovery, anxiety, depression, and BPD. I enjoy working with couples, groups, and individuals ages 15-70.Â
I work to customize the style and path of treatment to your individualized needs. This means I use multiple different approaches and take elements from existing styles to help you reach your goals. I employ a collaborative approach to reach your goals and create a relationship based on safety and free of judgment.Â
I view the therapeutic relationship as essential and seek to build that trust with all of my clients. As a result, I in turn work to recognize power differentials and empower clients both in session and out, so they feel more comfortable and confident.
My aim for therapy includes meeting clients where they are, helping to identify strengths, and using those strengths and tools learned along the way to reach your goals.Â
Personally, I love dogs, health and fitness, philosophy, and reading!
